The programme includes training, identifying business partners, a visit to China & meeting potential business partners, translations, interpreting and ongoing bespoke support to take you to your first sales deal with China.
Is there any support available?
Yes. Your business might be eligible to apply for the DIT “Exporting for Growth” funding which can cover up to 50% of your costs.

UK China Business Development Centre will run a 2 day business training course as part of the China Business for Newbies programme. the course will be broken down into 4 interactive workshops which will include practical and anecdotal information with group and individual exercises.
Session 1 – This session will focus on introduction & overview of the China market, Chinese perspectives & behaviour and getting started in China
Session 2 – This session looks at approaching the market and selling to China
Session 3 – Focuses on E-commerce in China, challenges of doing business in China and risk mitigation
Business Culture Briefing – This session covers preparations for visits to China, format of business meetings, communication in China business, baqueting & hospitaltiy, practical hints & tips for visiting China and receiving visitors from China
